In April 2009, while driving west on Fruitville Road, the "FOR RENT" sign displayed on this falling-apart bungalow caught my eye. I thought out loud, "this would make an adorable breakfast restaurant". My daughter, sitting beside me, said I was crazy... Little did we know, this dilapidated house was going to change our lives.

December 14th 2009, "The Breakfast House", opened for business. We served 35 people our first day. Within 2 weeks we were serving breakfast and lunch to over 100 people each day. Today, that number has doubled.

December 14th 2022, The Breakfast House will be open 13 years.
